What we collect
- Account info: name, email, hashed password.
- Business data you create: customers, appointments, sales, inventory.
- Usage data: pages visited, IP address, device type, error logs.
How we use it
We do not sell your data. We do not use your business data to train machine-learning models.
- To provide and improve the Service.
- To send transactional email (verification, password reset, renewal reminders).
- To detect abuse and protect the platform.
Sub-processors
- Hosting: Vercel / Cloudflare.
- Database: Neon / Supabase (managed Postgres).
- Email delivery: Resend.
- Error tracking: Sentry.
- Optional integrations: Cloudflare R2 (file uploads), Meta WhatsApp Business API (messages).
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie (set by Better Auth) to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from the dashboard or by emailing . Deletion is permanent after a 30-day grace period. privacy@smartbiz.app
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after cancellation. Audit logs are retained up to 12 months.
Security
Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Database access is restricted to the application service.
